Hello! Thank you for visiting my personal site. My name is Hong Tien Vu. I am an Associate Professor and Clyde Betty Reed Professor of Journalism at the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications, University of Kansas. I graduated with a doctoral degree from the School of Journalism, University of Texas at Austin. 

I have about 15 years of experience working in both journalism and public relations. I worked for multiple news organizations including online and traditional outlets, including the Associated Press in Hanoi. I was also a marketing manager for a private business and communications manager for Oxfam, a nonprofit organizations that works in nearly 100 countries in the world.
